FAQ'S

Q:  How much will it cost to have somebody come to my house for a consultation?

A:  A first time consultation is free.

 

Q:  Do you charge per hour or project based?

A:  Both.  Project requirements vary across the board.  We will work with you to accomodate your project budget.       

 

Q:  Is there a minimum?

A:  Yes, we have found that in order to best accomplish most projects we need a 4 hour minimum.

 

Q:   Where are you located?

A:   We are located in the Northwest Suburbs serving the greater Chicagoland area.

 

Q:  What should I have prepared for the first meeting with the designer?

A:  To make the best use of time, you should try to have examples of things and spaces that inspire your design style of preference: photos/magazine clippings, fabric swatches, color wheels, etc.  Also, please have a budget prepared and be honest, so that we can best meet your needs.   Have a timeline including the start date in mind, as well as any important upcoming dates to consider.  Once you decide to hire All About the Details, all homeowners need to agree and sign the contract.  Please be prepared to ask many questions.   Great communication is the essence of a great end result.

     

Q:  How soon should I call to reserve a date for winter seasonal decor?

A:  Now.   We are taking reservations every day and are filling up quickly!  Dates that revolve around the holidays are scheduled well in advance.
